A Lesson Learned

Hello there Bacon Fans-

So as you have been making and eating bacon, or even cooking anything for that matter, I imagine that you have had some sort of mishaps. This includes burning things, under cooking, and a variety of other bloopers blunders and boners.
Well I had started in on my recipe for quick bacon. I crack some black pepper on the uncooked bacon and then before it's finished cooking I put maple syrup on it. It makes bacon that is crispy, chewy, salty and sweet all in one.
This turns out, was a mistake to cook it as long as I did. The end results were disastrous and I'm still choking on the smoke. I had accidentally cooked the maple syrup for another 5 minutes and bad things happen. The pictures follow:







I know I look like I'm dying. Mainly because I am, it was so nasty. Anything for the Bacon I suppose.
